Women in Sonoma County, California, are using their bodies to popularize the area known for its wine is also environmentally conscious.

As part of the Climate Protection Campaign of Sonoma County, a group of self proclaimed "ecobabes" posed for a calendar to show that being green can also be sexy.

All nine cities in Sonoma have pledged to reduce greenhouse gases by 25 percent from their 1990 levels by 2015. If they achieve this goal, they would become the first county in the country to do so, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

This is an admirable goal, and the relatively affluent county should have the funds to invest in the technology and conservation techniques needed to make it happen. The calendar (which does not feature nudity) makes a statement that people of all stripes are interested in sustainability.
