Is Your iPhone Going Solar?
Despite the tremendous numbers of environmentally aware Mac users out there, Apple hasn’t always been the greenest company around. The company has caught a lot of flack for its less-than-stunning recycling programs, and questionable materials choices in the past.
In 2006, Steve Jobs himself responded with a lengthy and compelling letter, and despite continued anger from the more adamant factions of environmental defense, the company received a Silver Star rating from the EPA for the green-friendliness of its product.
